The worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. Peeling paint, bad fixtures, old worn bedding, carpeting, etc. No amenities.

The neighborhood on this block isn't as bad as many people make it out to be. I didn't have any problems walking around during the day or night. Some areas in the Tenderloin do have people out on the street day and night though. You do get noise coming through the windows from the street but you would get that most places downtown. This is an older hotel so it has some rough edges but it was clean enough and the bed and bathroom were fine. I liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The stairs are steep but I didn't try the elevator since I was just on the second floor. The Wifi worked well for me. The location is central to many areas so it was easy to get around on scooters or busses.

The worst part about this property is the extremely poor sound insulation. You are guaranteed to not be able to sleep at night. You will hear every Car passing by, every conversation from the street and the occasional firetruck and cop car sirens. I understand it is a cheap room so my expectations were not high, but decent sound insulation should be non-negotiable in a hotel room

it was very poor. The sheets were dirty. The floor was dirty. and it was noisy (not the hotel’s fault).
