Great value. No AC but fans provided. It's rustic and fun. High ceilings. Bring soap and kitchen soap and dish srubbers for pots and pans. The room didn't have a dish washer so the previous guests did your dishes. Needs blackout drapes in the main cabinet area. Furniture in the living space needs upgrading. Overall a great time.

Cabin was clean and even though I don't have a pet the entire property was pet-friendly so I got to see lots of fun dogs. Staff was very nice and the property was beautiful. Walking to the lake every morning was definitely a highlight. Will absolutely stay here again when I'm in the Lakewood/Pinetop area.

Check in was a breeze, Sean went over things quickly and clearly. When we got to the cabin turned on the kitchen sink it shot out some water and air and then trickled water, I checked bath sink, fine, tub cold side very slow hot, fine. I informed Sean and he had maintenance on it immediately. (This was on a Friday night after 5:00) Seems there had been an exterior valve replaced and debris had entered the line from the repair. We went out to dinner and it was done before we got back. Cabins are spaced nicely so you aren't on top of each other.

Cabin was clean. Included kitchenette with small fridge with freezer along with dishes and cooking utensils. Two small bath towels, two hand towels, and two wash cloths provided in the bathroom. Felt comfortable and safe. Lake was pretty but wasn’t regularly maintained. Apparently some guests decided it was ok to leave garbage behind around the shore line, docks, and boats. Boats were available to rent for $10 for 1 hour and $5/hr after. They also have fishing gear and bait available in the office. Decent fishing spot. Lots of surrounding wildlife make their way to the lake and very cool to see. Restaurant across the street Tipsy Hippy Grill is nice, there is also a gift shop with wine and whiskey tasting. Was our “going out” spot each night. Sports on all tvs, two areas of seating indoors and lots of outdoor seating with yard games. Plenty of menu options. We checked out several of the local boutiques which were all well kept. Recommend eating lunch at The Bistro at Annie’s. It was really nice, staff were quick and attentive, food was better than expected, and ambience was great. Dinner time you would need to make reservations. Several hiking trails around the Lake in the Woods resort, there is a map in the rec center cabin room. The rec room has two ping pong tables. Has a playground. Quiet hours of campground are 9pm-8am, most people seemed to stick to it. Would probably stay here again, but might try some others around the area first. Overall, I would recommend.
