Pool was closed; no mention of this on hotels page at booking, both days were over 90 degrees with humidity. No cleaning service visited our room on Saturday with no explanation from front desk staff. We were placed on the amenity floor, where there was big group celebration groups staying making it a noisy Friday night. For over $500 a night I expect at least a visit from maid staff.

Stay was awesome. Only recommendation I would have is to not stay on the 7th floor. It is very noisy at night due to the rooftop bar. Also, shower did not got as hot as expected for it to be brand new. I definitely would stay again due to the prime location and being close to everything in relativity. Also staff could be a little more friendly.

This property had a spa like and resort experience it was super clean. It smelled nice and it was convenient to all the restaurants and shopping in St. Petersburg and not to mention the staff was super nice. The only thing I didn’t like but it’s not even their fault is that the pool area was not open yet - but from what I’ve heard it’s gonna look gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back.

We had some initial difficulties getting into a suitable room as there was garbage dumped outside our initial room by the condominium property next door to the hotel. The manager was able to get us into a much better, spacious, and clean room. There was some noise due to the hotel's proximity to bars/clubs in the area, but was not terrible. The pool is beautiful and the gym is brand new with great equipment. The breakfast is also amazing!

First off there was nothing I didn't like. Excellent service,hospitality,safe,great location. There were places to eat where you could walk to. The hotel was very clean I saw the cleaning staff working they are very good and did a great job our room was so clean never saw a hotel room that clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Greatest experience ever. When i go back to St Petersburg i will definitely stay her. From 1 to 10 we give it a 12.

Super convenient location in downtown. Everything is walkable or a very cheap Uber. Fabulous rooftop bar. Amazing staff both at the front and the valet! Rooms were superb. Lovely bathrooms with a shower to die for. Cozy sheets and pillows. Bed was harder than we would like but everyone is different. Definitely would stay again! Dying to try that pool! Only thing that could use even the tiniest improvement was cleaning staff. Huge hairball the size of a grasshopper there both days we were there in plain sight in bathroom. I eventually trashed it for them. Only half our trash was removed as well. But all in all that is minor! Fabulous place to stay!!

Our Air conditioning went out at 4:30AM and woke us up hot, AC guy didnt come until 7 am and the manager said she could only comp our parking... The Floor was sticky and not clean and there was soda or something sticky on the counter. Would not stay here again.

This property has a lot of nice amenities, like onsite bar and restaurant, a lovely rooftop pool and more. I would definitely recommend that front desk maintain the phones at night - we had noise disturbances and I called several times with no response. The doors in the room, bathroom and shower are all incredibly heavy to move and open which was very odd and not great as I have limited mobility due to EDS. The shower was also not as clean as it could be due to dirty floors. Otherwise everyone was really nice and the pool was a cool treat.

The AC literally didn’t work (they knew this and said they thought I preferred it hot, which means the staff literally looked at the temp of my room and STILL didn’t do anything) and I wasn’t moving my stuff at 1am after I had unpacked everything so I let it go. Then I bring it up next AM when they asked how everything was and I told them the AC didn’t work all night and they didn’t even comp my valet parking, let alone the room. What did they want me to do? Beg for a free stay in front of everyone? Disappointed but will just advise that if you’re paying 300$ for a basic room -stay somewhere else . I thought I was getting a reputable company, instead I got an 81 degree room. Also, “we thought you just preferred it hot” is a crazy statement in June in Florida. Do better

The room was immaculately clean and comfortable, but not worth the price of nearly $400, PLUS 40 valet parking. It is similar to a micro-hotel. For that money I could have stayed at The Vinoy which has ambiance and then some. I used it for convenience for 1 night to be close to an event. The roof top bar was ridiculously loud, playing EDM I think, so despite it being a gorgeous night to be outside we had to sit inside. At 10:45-ish the few tables inside were TOLD we had to vacate so they could mop the floors. UNHEARD OF in the hospitality - or should I say UN-hospitality business. St. Petersburg has an incredible downtown night life of restaurant and Bars, but enjoying it comes at a steep price. We paid Miami prices. Ridiculous.

Our room was right next to Jannus Live and the music was thumping late into the night. Clearly not all the rooms are on that side of the hotel, so we were intentionally placed at that end of the hotel despite booking weeks in advance. Also, the hotel construction was shoddy. A book fell off the wall in the bathroom, the shower wasn’t really hot. We were only there one night, so we could overlook it, but won’t be back.

I did not mind this hotel, I like the location,but I hated the bathroom door! the door is a sliding barn door and when someone comes in the hotel room door, even if the bathroom door is closed they can see the person inside doing their business, this happened on this trip and was very uncomfortable.

2 for Good location! As part of Marriot family AC Hotel lack of customer service/care is not a hotel that i recommended if you have pets, not only that…First i was put in a room/cave when you open the window i had half wall with some plants, the room was on 6th floor facing the “courtyard” no privacy, no sun light, w ppl walking by on their way to the pool, definitely not very pleasant. I have 2 service dogs, registered/trained(meaning they have cards, and letters to prove), and even with that, the hotel wanted to charge extras pet fees; when I called and spoke to the office manager she was short, literally like you’re not happy? Im happy to check you out!!!!!! YES, AWFUL! When on the phone I wasn’t rude, my voice tone was still nice/polite, so the call was not escalated to bad argument, I was only asking why pet fees, bcuz it’s ilegal to charge service dogs. Next day I tried to talk to the manager Ben, and in a similar conversation, also asking me to prove what kind of service my dogs provide, forcing me to talk about my situation in front of other guests, just pure embarrassment, feeling discriminated, it was very uncomfortable. The story was worse, but thats the summary of my stay… Ps. I had to checkout a day earlier

Everything here was a bit underwhelming. The housekeeping wouldn't refresh lotion bottles or complimentary bottles of water (even when I asked the front desk). The maintenance team didn't catch the fact that the sink wasn't draining, nor was the temperature setting working on the HVAC. The front desk was understaffed so there was a long wait (15 minutes) to check in after 10 PM. The gym is big, but it's pretty spartan with limited machines and weights. Overall, it's just not a very pleasant place to stay.

Toilet stopped working in hotel room. Spoke with front desk staff twice and not once did anyone come to the room to address even though we were assured both times that it would be resolved. We also were not offered an opportunity to move to another room. I guess the expectation was that we were stuck with the room with no bathroom functionality. Good luck if you stay here....

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, but the staff was unhelpful. Valet service took 30 minutes, and after finally taking our car, we found no luggage carts available. At the front desk, two employees were chatting. When I asked for a luggage cart, they claimed there were none. I pointed out that a hotel of this size, an AC Hotel, should have carts. They admitted they had some but didn’t know where they were and made no effort to find one for us or another guest who asked. I had to make two trips to my room. I usually enjoy AC Hotels and have never had issues, but I won’t return to this one.

Amazing hotel. Best location in St Pete you are steps from the pier and all of the best that downtown has to offer. Short Uber to Tropicana but you can also walk. Rooftop bar makes great drinks. Went for a WWE event at Tropicana and the hotel was perfect. Highly recommend to anyone coming to St Pete.

This hotel was very nice and satisfied all our needs. The pool was beautiful however the weather was chilly so really didn’t get to use it. No hot tub. The rooftop restaurant was yummy. My only gripe is the walls seem thin since was awoken multiple times by noisy guests by the elevator. Should have a noise curfew. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The air conditioning unit came in like a air plane and spent the night like a freight train. Really bad and ruined an otherwise serviceable hotel with a great location for downtown St. Pete. A room fundamentally must give you the comfort of a good night sleep. Evening out the rating is the very nice roof top pool, a great location and the spanish themed Cane roof top bar. Cane's food was below par but the drinks were good. Appetizer was still cold inside from its frozen state. The servers were earnest and polite throughout. Plenty to work on. Up your game "AC" (oh the irony).
