I was surprised at the lack of cleanliness. Mirrors, desktop, windows all had fingerprints , smudges that were quite visible in room 323. Ice machine on 3rd floor was not working. Water leaks ( perhaps rain) noticeable throughout facility.. Juice machine at breakfast not wirking. Not the standards I am used to with Hampton stays.

my doorlock did not function my entire stay. The battery was dead, my card never worked. I was told numerous times the battery would be changed, it never was. I had to get an employee EVERY time I needed entry to my room. When I checked out it still was not working

The hotel is under construction, so a lot of damage and tools lying around. The room was nice. The toilet looked like they never cleaned it out from the construction dust stuck inside the bowl after they installed it. They had no water in the fitness center. The food was good. The location was great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. There was a lack of drinking water available, from both the fitness room and from the breakfast drink station.

Our stay was disappointing. We stayed here two years ago. At that time, the hotel was clean and well maintained. This trip found the hotel run down, and one of the elevators was out of service. Per the maintenance crew, the elevator has been out of service for several months. It was terribly inconvenient for all of the guests, as the hotel was full.

The property did not communicate that our water would be shut off and when we suddenly discovered it off at 9am and went to ask why (the hotel was under construction — our floor was half torn up, but the workers were very quiet so that was fine) they tapped on a stack of fliers that said the water would be off for several hours. Had the fliers been hung up anywhere or put in the elevator so we could prepare, we could have worked around the inconvenience. As it was the manager did not offer an apology or any way for us to shower, brush our teeth, or go to the bathroom.

La seule employée à l'accueil a fait de son mieux et garder son calme et son sourire pour 3 couples de visiteurs arrivés en même temps avec même problématique que nous. If you need or want to rest, this is not the hotel for you. The walls and windows are very poorly insulated. The noise from the outside was so loud that I thought that our window was open; it wasn’t. The interstate traffic noise is awful. We heard the people in the room next to us opening packages. You would have thought that they were in the same room. There was some wooden type wedge holding the air conditioning unit in place. It wasn’t the dirtiest hotel that I’ve stayed in, but it’s definitely not clean. The carpets are dirty and the towels are yellow. The breakfast was nearly gone at 7:30 a.m. and what was left was inedible. The biscuits were rock hard. When I called to book the hotel the rate that I was given was $283. I booked through a third party site for $207. This is a more like a Motel 6 or any other $69 night hotel. I’m surprised that Hampton hasn’t pulled their name off of it.

Horrible conditions! Dirty, bugs and mounds of sheets in the hallways. Clean or dirty? Who knows! Smells like mold and staff couldn't be bothered to get off their phones. Took pictures for refund and left! Run!!

Checking in was fast and great. Once we came to our room i was greatly disapointed. I am not sure if the bathroom waa cleaned or not bit it definitely needs a deep clean. Moving on to the bed. I found crumbs and hair on the matress and sheets. After calling the front desk twice, we were moved to a room that was lacking cleanliness as well (the desk waant even wiped down) and to a smaller bed than initially booked. I was offered a verbal $5 (!) dollar discount. After finding hair in this bed as well we finally decided to check out and get a full refund. It was frustrating to then find a hotel at 11 pm that same night. Absolutely disappointed

Room was filthy. Mold all over the bathroom. We had to use the pull out couch for two kids. The mattress was AWFUL!! The only bedding provided for the pull out was one flat sheet. We asked for towels, the following morning, and they never came. We went to the front desk for them, the desk attendant was half asleep.

Stayed at this location for a good nights rest. The loud music until after 1 am at the bar next door made that entirely IMPOSSIBLE! I’m extremely disappointed, tired, and frustrated!! I called front desk as well as the bar next door and just got an “I’m sorry!”. Glad I spent a considerable amount of money for NOTHING! 😤

Convenient location next to a restaurant/bar however it was also its downfall because the bands music was blaring in our room located on the same side until after midnight. On check in the place smelled like fingernail polish as they were having some sort of nail polish meeting. Traveled with friends and we were visiting outside as a few cars came into the lot and sped out several times. We thought maybe they were planning to steal cars or cat convertors but later determined they were most likely affiliated with the single ladies hanging out in the lobby. Not the Hampton Inn quality I am use to seeing as others have reported.

Restaurant nextdoor had a live band until 1am. Was very loud and couldn't sleep. When I called front desk he said this is normal for Friday night. Not sure why that wouldn't have been brought up when we checked in.

The staff was courteous which is always important. The room was OK. Not much noise reduction between rooms. One of the attaching rooms was very noise as though there was not insulation. Overall, this particular Hampton Inn didn't seem to meet the overall quality that I have come to expect from the brand, unfortunately.

The poor girl at checkin couldn't stop saying she is going to quit because she was the only one working and expectations are just too much. Took her several minutes to get to me and then the system was down adding to her frustration and mine. I was there three nights. The tv and remote didn't work and the firm alarm loudly chirped the second night. Barking dogs groups of kids in the halls all night long so sleeping was out of the question. Facilities were in good shape. Convenient location. Cleanliness in public areas needed attention like hallway's elevators and eating area.

The front desk attendant, Steven was awesome! He welcomed us with professional kindness and later after we checked in, my wife and Steven chatted for a bit. Staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The only glitch was that not one of the numerous hand sanitizer dispensers had a drop of sanitizer in them and there was no soap in the room. We requested some but were told that the hotel had run out of bars of soap. Another nice attendant offered to run to a store immediately to get some and not 10 minutes later we had soap! Overall a 9.5 out of 10.

When we checked into the hotel and received our key cards and went to our room, the key card didnt work them we were approached by a guy and he said he was the maintenance man he help us getting into our room and changed the battery on the door so our key card would work. The problem we had is that the maintenance man was wearing black sweats that were sagging and showing his boxers not even wearing a uniform. The next morning we got up to go do some activities and when we came back to our room later in the afternoon we noticed that our room was not cleaned by house keeping, bed was still messy and no fresh sheets nothing, no fresh towels in the bathroom and the trash was still in the trash can from the night before and when we check out sunday morning there were ants all ny the trash can because the house keeping didn't do there job. My wife and I will not be staying there again seems like this place needs to retrain there employees to be more professional

Booked for a business event. Prior to checking in that day, I was hospitalized with an illness. A family member (traveling with me) attempted to use the reservation. The front desk person wanted to see a copy of my identification, credit card, reservation confirmation, etc. which were with me - in the hospital. He left and stayed at Homewood Suites. We will be using Homewood suites when doing business in St. Louis from now on.

the staff, beginning with Rob , was very polite and accommodating. I truly thank the friendly staff for all their efforts. My problems are from first, no pool available, which was the main reason for my choice in hotels , that was very disappointing. Second, so many things did not work at the breakfast area. Waffle machines, as well as 3/4 juices OUT . The room was good. Not great . But good. I again mention Rob and the staff on duty for they did a great job. That Hampton Inn could be great with a crew like that if they had working pool and equipment.
