We were thankful that we could park our car while we were gone for a couple days. Yes, we had to be charged but we understood that I do know the AC was struggling downstairs and that was hard to hang out. The bartender didn’t quite know what she was doing and was not very friendly.

Front staff was fantastic from the check in all the way to the check out. Very convenient location close to several restaurants, bars, pubs, stadium. Only flaw would have to be the parking garage situation.

Overall the stay was wonderful, the room was nice amd clean, the room itself was big and the faxilties were great however they charge $20 a night for parking in the garage which is just stupid considering there is no where else to park. It feels like a cash grab.

I got engaged to my girlfriend after checking into this hotel. This hotel is very much an excellent clean place but my favorite thing about the hotel was the outdoor porch and bar Nunn the absolute best fitness center I’ve ever been to in any hotel in the country.

Parking is horrible, if there is a parking space available in the lot, I hope you have a small car, the design is horrible and there is no signage how to get in or out of the lot. The rooms were not clean, trash under the bed/ visible dirt around the microwave. We didn’t have a remote for the TV or a hair dryer. They did bring them up upon request. The front desk was not bad, but definitely not the friendliest.

Did not receive room service at all for the three days we stayed. Poor shower water pressure. Empty container of body wash in the shower. Billed a separate $20 a night for parking (not for valet). In general, not worth the cost.

The staff fulfilled my request to have a room with a view and it was amazing. The staff were friendly, they greeted me everyday. The most important factor was a spotless and clean room which was furnished with both fridge and microwave. Its rare to book a room with basic amenities now days. I also enjoyed having hot and cold breakfast included.

Every staff member I encountered greeted me and was so kind. The breakfast options were typical for hotels but consistently good! I was very excited for both cheesy scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs! The breakfast area was large and the view from it is BEAUTIFUL! Check in and check out were both so easy- and the associate who checked me in was so patient with my 747285 silly questions. I’ve already recommended the hotel to multiple people!

The night we stayed, this hotel was unable to issue room keycards due to the Microsoft issue that grounded flights and other major issues. The hotel handled it as best they could but you had to be escorted to your room each time by a hotel. The staff was very nice. Hotel and our room was very clean. The air conditioning unit in our room -219 was very loud each time it turned on. Room got too cold when it was on and too warm when it wasn’t. It was quiet and we had no problem finding a space in their garage but the MLS team was playing away that night. I could see it being very different when they are playing at home. Breakfast was very nice.

No clue how this place has a 9.2 rating. It's not terrible but when I tried to call before reserving (3 attempts) there was a feedback-like noise on the line so I couldn't ask vital questions. The internet is 8 mbps. Again, not terrible, but you have to pay additional for faster speeds and they don't even tell you what the upgraded speed would be. Virtually 0 foot traffic in this area so paying $20 a day to use their tiny, uncovered parking structure is ridiculous. The single-bed suites are the size and shape of a shoebox (250 ft sq ft!) and you have a 50/50 chance of a great view of downtown or, ugh, an up close and personal look at the STL FBI field office. Yay! A gloomy, fenced-in, gov building. Thin walls, not much within walking distance, and overpriced. Don't get me wrong, building is clean, seems fairly new, and the staff are fine. But this place is a prime example of a big name (Marriott) using its rep to try and squeeze every dime they can out of travelers. Only 30 or so basic cable channels, btw, and because internet is slow, don't plan on streaming much without paying an additional daily fee. If you have no intention of spending much time in your actual room, this place, while pricey, is decent enough.

I am a dental provider at a non-profit clinic. Not much throws me in dealing with different people and difficult situations. I was surprised at the night front desk staff though. It's as if I stepped into their bad day. Specially concerning my Expedia reservations - they acted as if they weren't valid. I had to convince them I had three rooms reserved. They were not going to accept the reservation and said you need to call Expedia. Whatever you do - do not book this hotel through Expedia. Terrible customer service experience.

I liked the property and it conveniences also the closeness to dining options. However I did not liked the way I was treated by the staff that checked me in. She was borderline between rude and not nice. When I went up to the counter to check in and gave her my confirmation number, she kept asking me for some App number and I told her that all I have is a confirmation number and her response was they don't use confirmation number. She kept on asking me for the App. Then she asked me my name and I told her and she looked it up. During this whole time she was rude. I just ignored her bad behavior and finished checking in. If they don't accept confirmation number they should state so. So that you know before you get there. Apart from the bad checking everything was ok.

The staff really helped us out with our issues. First off, our room smelled like smoke, so we called the front desk, and they sent someone right away to check it out and gave us another room. Then, our TV had a little problem, and they fixed it fast. Finally, at the end of our stay, the AC unit started making a loud noise, like it was about to break. We called them, and they checked it out. Things happen, but they were super helpful the whole time. We've stayed here a bunch, and we always come back because it's always a good experience.

Very easy check in process, friendly staff, and clean rooms. I especially enjoyed that the parking garage is hotel guests only. It makes for easy parking when you are coming and going. Convenient location for an easy walk to downtown, enterprise center, and union station.

All was as expected for a cheap hotel in midtown. Be aware this is NOT downtown, but around 3mi away so walkable but you're not as close as expected. Bed is telling that it's no Wyndham that's for sure.

This hotel was very nice and was warm welcoming. The parking area was directly connected to the hotel which was great. Our room was very clean and was the right size for a couple. My only complaint was that breakfast was very limited by the time I got there and that was 45 minutes before breakfast ended. Biscuits were out and never got restocked, decent amount of eggs remained, but only three pork sausage patty’s were left. I drank orange juice but it was heavily watered down and did not have much flavor. I watched several people arrive after me and were also disappointed to see so little food remaining. I sat there til breakfast was almost over and I only saw one worker check on the food supplies in that time frame.

One of my best hotel experiences recently. Clean and quiet and rooms had everything you need. No frills but just what you need. Large walk-in shower was nice. Continental breakfast was actually way better than any other continental breakfast I’ve had anywhere. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in STL!

My stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites St Louis Downtown was excellent. The hotel is so nice, very clean, and I felt very safe! The room was spacious and comfortable. Every staff member I encountered greeted me and was so kind. The breakfast options were typical for hotels but consistently good! I was very excited for both cheesy scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs! The breakfast area was large and the view from it is BEAUTIFUL! Check in and check out were both so easy- and the associate who checked me in was so patient with my 747285 silly questions. I’ve already recommended the hotel to multiple people!

This is a very nice property. It’s very clean and quiet. Within walking distance to Union Station and restaurants. The parking garage was a bit tight for large vehicles (trucks, large suv, or large vans). We drove a truck and I was able to get in park and leave without hitting any thing but had to backup to make a turn. Breakfast was good. I wish they had waffle or pancake option but they did have quiche and Cheesey scrambled eggs and very hot sauce you could think of and salsa. I would stay again.
