Its a budget hotel, very basic, but great location and next to all the action in York. Rooms are small and dated, and it was tight for a family of four. We were there for just one night so it was fine.

Great room with a beautiful view of the river and the city. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available, but like everywhere in downtown areas, very tight spots. The only issue was there was no access to the parking lot from the inside of the hotel; they have to open the garage door for you, so plan not to have access to your car unless you absolutely need it.

Good location as it’s very close to York centre, breakfast was good. Hotel was dated though and our bath had a missing bath handle with dangerous holes that children could cut themselves on
