Great location, nice sized room and had everything we needed. Useful to have a fan! Pool and leisure facilities on site was a bonus and easy to join for breakfast each morning. We found it easy to find the hotel and park our car and then took the bus into the city centre each time which was very simple and quick.

Room clean and quiet has air con unit but not adequate for warm summer nights . Breakfast was lovely staff very helpful especially Will who was particularly attentive . The pool was a nice bonus but wish I had taken flip flops as floor dangerously slippery even though attendant was constantly mopping . Grounds lovely to sit in during this lovely weather . Easy access to town or designer outlet . Lovely hotel would definitely go back but will take a fan .

A comfortable and clean hotel away from York city centre but close enough for an easy walk or journey into the centre. The hotel is just over a mile from York railway station and the Micklegate. The hotel is overlooking the racecourse and has a range of amenities, including a small pool, a tennis court and a beauty salon. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning, a must have for the recent hot weather we have experienced. The breakfast was most enjoyable, being well laid out a varied selection of options available. The cooked breakfast was replenished at regular intervals so was fresh and hot. All the staff were friendly and helpful, which I was especially grateful for as at the time of our visit I was temporarily having to use crutches to get around. A special mention to Liam, the manager, who was particularly helpful during our 2 night stay. We would not hesitate to stay at the Delta again on any future trips to York.

The hotel is badly in need of a makeover, air conditioning poor except in the front of house areas.
