Clean and big rooms. Complete and hot breakfast (fruit, juice, bread, honey, jam, butter, eggs, scrambled eggs, hamburger, bacon, waffles, etc). Inside pool. Quite busy. The area is nice and there is a brewery near with food-truck If you could walk 10 min to go there.

We booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool and we were traveling with our 4 kids. When we arrived my husband noticed the pool was not even filled with water, which obviously meant we couldn’t use the pool. They were apologetic and willing to refund us if we could find another hotel, but it was still the inconvenience of it and the fact that our kids were excited about being able to swim that was frustrating. Lesson learned and we’ll call before we book to make sure the pool is actually WORKING. Just a head up to other families who are looking to stay here with the pool as a factor. We did end up finding another hotel so my rating isn’t based off of actually staying here.

Good value. Spacious suite room. Problem - Fitness room could not be accessed at 7am or 730am when it was suppose to be opened at 7am. Fro t desk could not give access. Perhaps door timing was not adjusted for DST.

The first night we got a great night sleep due to being so tired. The pool was not heated but we and along with another gentleman complained and they had it fixed the next day. Breakfast was excellent! Customer service was wonderful as well. The 2nd night we didn't sleep as well. The beds were hard as bricks. They are Serta mattresses and we are use to sleeping on a Sealy mattresses. We would come back here again.

Everything was nice , couple issues bothered me though , side key entry door broken left open to vagrants and possible criminals . I was there 4 nights remained broke unlocked all night. And both ice makers first floor second floor were broken Other than that all was great . Chloe and Val were great Hosts and good hotel representation.

The lobby is cozy and attractive with the fireplace and seating. Breakfast had lots of options. Pool was nice, but could use a little cleaning (sand at the bottom) and freshening up the smell. The person at the front desk when we checked in and out was not all that friendly.

The room was fixed up, bed made, trash emptied, towels folded, but the sheets were definitely not clean. They had spots of something on them that looked like food bits. The toilet had so much pubic hair on the seat it was like someone had shaved themselves. There is NO WAY the room had been cleaned. We left and did not sleep there. The lobby was cute and cozy, the lemon water was nice, but that’s it. The staff was not friendly at all.

I'm really not sure how this hotel is ranked as "Excellent!" I did choose this hotel based on the reviews. Sadly, the reviews didnt match my family's experience. First off, the young man that checked us in was nice and respectful. This should not reflect upon him. I'm sorry, but I cant remember his name. I understand that people's level of cleanliness/tolerance can be a wide range; however, clean is clean and dirty is dirty! Our original room had multiple carpet stains. The shower wasn't very inviting. The AC unit was dirty, and quite possibly had mold. The swimming pool area was not clean either. The vents were full of filth. I tried contacting Hotels.com and of course, you cant get a human on the line. So, this complaint is about them as well. I really wanted to leave the facility and hopefully get refunded. Not being able to reach a person isn't acceptable, Hotels.com. There was no manager on duty, so we were moved to another room. This room was better than the first, but still nowhere close to what a $200+ room should be. With that being said, it doesn't matter what the cost is, people should take pride in their facilities and go above and beyond to ensure that cleanliness is not a guest's concern.

This hotel is filthy! We had reservations for 2 nights, checked in and unpacked everything, returned first night around 10:00, pulled covers back and sheets were slept in among other things and NOT CHANGED! We called front desk and no housekeeping was available so they brought us up new sheets that we had to change ourselves..another room was offered but it was late and we were unpacked. We did not want to stay the second night-why would anyone? I took a shower and as soon as I got in with the water the tub was black-from walking on the carpet. The carpets probably have never been cleaned. We called the manager-who was not there when we left-and they gave us $100 off and STILL CHARGED US THE FULL $250+ FOR THE SECOND NIGHT THAT WE DIDN'T STAY THERE. This place is disgusting-don't stay here!!!!!!

The hotel is older. Musty smelling when we first got to the room. There was no A/C running in the room at all - it's summertime. Once we got the room to cool off it was better. The curtains are moldy need to be replaced. The room and bathroom were clean.

Overall good stay. Clean although older property. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Only bad thing is they have the hardest mattress on earth. I had to go buy a pillow top mattress cover and then only got some sleep

Comfort Suites Boone was decent, clean with pleasant staff, tasty breakfast and easy to reach location. There was road work being done which caused quite a bit of traffic backup in front of the hotel during morning and evening rush hours. The beds seemed particularly hard which was unpleasant. They did have a nice indoor pool.

Some unprofessional activities around the checkin desk, staff laughed it off. Room smelled of Marijuana when we got there. Rooms have no sound control at all, very loud with traffic. Beds also very hard.

Hotel is in a good location. Nice indoor pool. Cookies at check in. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great! Room was damp feeling. Carpet feel wet and bathroom floor was slippery. Woke up congested. They appear to have some type of moisture problem. Talked to others and they had the same experience. I wouldn’t stay here again due to this issue.

Arrived at our room and settled in for the night. Locked the door and put the guard lock in place. Next morning realized the door doesn't lock because the plate on the door jam was not in right place.Was assigned another room. Did not offer to help move. Very disappointed with the service.

The breakfast was fresh and the girl that cleaned up room was always busy cleaning tables and making sure that the food was always checked for needing to restock. The manager needs to train the people at the desk. We had problems checking in with our confirmation number. The manager was not helpful and there were people waiting to check in. She could have used more training on how to make people feel welcomed and work on being a better host.

I stayed here about seven years ago and the front desk lady was amazing then and so I tried it again this time for my daughter‘s 13th birthday trip and they had a different front lady and she was just as amazing. She was so good to my daughter and her friends. Also, the gentleman that worked at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the spot it’s central to everything in Boone and both trips years of apart were wonderful. Everything’s clean and comfy.

The hotel was in a perfect location and our kids loved the pool. We saw a lot of workers, but only a few who were actually working. The breakfast bar was wonderfully maintained and fully stocked. We were there for 6 days and could never get anyone to service our room. We needed the trash emptied, more paper products, and fresh towels. We asked at least 3 times to have the room serviced on Day 4 of our stay. They would say, “You are on the list.” It was never serviced. Other than that issue, we enjoyed our stay.

Probably one of our worst hotel stays - paid for the room, gave my card for incidentals. Room had a used yogurt container and receipts left in it so cleaning wasn’t great. Husband bought two sodas and swiped his card. After that it was all downhill - they then proceeded to do multiple authorization holds on his card (linked to the same checking account) and managed to hold over $800 over the course of 24 hours. The front desk is unprofessional, management is non-existent and they just keep repeating “it’ll fall off” - the only problem with that is every few hours another hold appears. We had to block the card and issue disputes. Last night a return of one of the charges was issued - not a drop of a pending charge, a post void. Our bank recommended closing the card and reissuing at this point and not one apology was given. Bed is hard, shower is full of mildew, breakfast was meh. There are a lot of decent places to stay in Boone - I would look elsewhere unless you want to spend an hour on the phone with your bank.

We came to town for a trip to tweetsie. We had reserved 2 rooms at a different hotel but upon arrival, discovered the pool was closed and had to make a quick pivot. We were relieved to find this hotel was open and had an open pool. Much to our surprise, this hotel had free breakfast (the other one did not). This place was a great stay for us! Customer service was great, the kids loved the breakfast (my son ate his weight in bacon), and we swam 3 times. The remote to our tv wasn’t working and they gave us a new one right away. I noticed lots of cleanliness measures being taken and appreciated that given my own kids who are walking Petri dishes. If we ever come back to town, this will be where we will stay!

The staff was nice and efficient. The hotel is showing some wear and tear but it was clean. The sign about being green was not readily apparent and we had to request clean towels on day 2. The remote for the tv worked minimally. For the cost of the stay I expect everything to be fully operational. The breakfast was marginal and could be upgraded in qualtiy some.
